We work with Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS England to expand the use of Personal Health Budgets
‘When I took on personal health budget development in my new role as a health and care commissioner last year, I needed to get up to speed fast. The first contact name I was given by several different colleagues and organisations was Katherine Beard at Independent Lives, who I was told had vast experience in this field, coupled with a transparent and can-do collaborative approach they had found invaluable.’
Nick Seecharan, Programme Manager – Long Term Conditions Strategy & Transformation Horsham & Mid Sussex CCG and Crawley CCG
The latest mandate from the Government to NHS England for 2016/17 sets out the clear expectation that by 2020, 50-100,000 people will have a Personal Health Budget or personal budget that combines NHS funding with Social Care funding.
If you are a Clinical Commissioning Group we can help you make this a reality.
